Baby Makaton is our exciting baby sign class teaching a fantastic communication style that helps deepen connection and comprehension between parent and child. Sessions are fun, interactive, and designed to equip families with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to use Makaton signs and symbols in everyday life.

Research shows that using communication systems like Makaton enhances the development of speech and language skills in young children. Additionally, both parent and child are happier and more relaxed when they feel understood by others.

Sessions are a mix of learning, singing, stories, and simple games. Best of all, we finish with drinks, Cakes by Sarah, and an opportunity to chat and recap.

Our classes are designed for babies up to 12 months old, the class is primarily designed to teach the adult so the sooner you come along and learn makaton you can put it into practice with your baby. Many parents follow on to our Makaton Advanced course which continues to deepen your knowledge and teaches a set of new signs to expand your vocabulary.
