Cheltenham’s well loved postnatal group is a lovely place to meet other new parents in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Our covid secure sessions are small groups to allow for social distancing, you will each have your own mat with a special basket of treasures for your baby to explore while you enjoy a hot drink and homemade cake.
It is a friendly and supportive group for parents and NON MOBILE babies, once rules have relaxed after Easter it will be up to 9 months but currently babies need to be contained to their mat.
These groups will run on the following dates and require pre-booking, if you need to cancel your session you may reschedule or request a refund up to 3 days prior to the session date.

Testimonials
Coming into group for the first time initially felt scary but you, Sarah, made me feel and still do feel very welcome with a smile, drink and a delicious cake! The mums at group all feel free to talk about the changing stages, triumphs and stresses of being a new mum with zero judgement- just support and advice from one another. The taster sessions/guests are fun and informative but it is also nice to come on free weeks to relax and chat and let Jake play and start to interact more with his friends. I can’t believe we have now been coming for near 7 months. I have taken so much from such the lovely, supportive environment at Emmanuel. It will be sad to move up Toddlers in a couple of months time. Thank you for running Emmanuel Post Natal Group- a vital group for local new mums.

I have been attending emmanuel postnatal support group since my daughter Isobel was 5 weeks old (she is now nearly 8 months). It was the first time I had ventured out far from home with Isobel and I was pretty scared! Sarah made me feel so welcome and came over and started chatting to me straight away and put me at ease, as well as giving me a much needed tea and chocolate brownie! Ive attended the group pretty much every week ever since and Isobel now loves being there, playing with the toys and all the other babies. The weekly guest hosts have been really informative and the help and support from Sarah and the other mums invaluable. I will really miss going once I have to return to work.

I have been attending Sarah’s Post-natal group in Emmanuel church since my baby was five weeks old and it has fast become the highlight of my, and my son, Theo’s, week. The group is really well attended and has a fabulous friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Sarah is the ideal group host and always makes time to speak to every person there whether it’s their first time or a frequent member. In addition to this Sarah is a fantastic baker and provides very welcome and tasty treats.
